People often ask me how I got started in Colon Hydrotherapy….my story starts back in the 90’s when I found myself struggling with health issues related to digestion and constipation.   I started researching why I was having digestive issues and was led to Colon Hydrotherapy.   I found a trained colon therapist using FDA registered equipment through the International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy and along with diet modification (I always say there is no magic bullet) and colon therapy sessions I started to feel so much better.  I gained a passion to learn more about the body in particular how the digestive system worked.

I enrolled in Trinity School of Natural Health and completed coursework and training in Health Building Principles, Single Herbs, Vitamins, Body Systems, Iridology, Kinesiology , Advance Nutrition and Enzyme therapy.  I became a Certified Natural Health Professional, graduating in 1999.

In 2001, I owned an Herb store that was located in a Woman’s gym.  I was told by so many ladies that they were struggling with……digestion and constipation.  Again, my desire to learn more about the digestive system peaked.  I felt that I was benefitting from colonics and was inspired to pursue Colon Hydrotherapy as a profession.

I applied to and was accepted into the Midwest Academy for Colon Therapy where I was expertly trained on both the open and closed FDA Registered Colon Hydrotherapy systems.

I joined The International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy and worked my way up from Foundation Level to Instructor. I learned a lot about the digestive system and still find it fascinating!  Did you know that your colon is five to six feet long?  And that we have one long tube that runs from our mouth to our rectum called the Alimentary Canal?  This tube is approximately THIRTY feet long!!

I started my business in 2002.  I use the FDA registered Angel of Water open system, using only disposable tubing.

I am a National Board Certified Colon Hydrotherapist and an Instructor with I-Act(The International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy) and G-Pact (The Global Professional Association for Colon Therapy.)  I have been trained as an I-Act Ambassador and I am an authorized trainer for The Angel of Water device.  Additionally, I have served as an I-Act Regional Representative for Wisconsin, Minnesota, North and South Dakota.

In 2010, I was honored to be named Colon Hydrotherapist of the year by The International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy.

I am very much a people person, I will stay with you throughout your session and will go out of my way to make you comfortable.  I really enjoy helping people work through the same digestive issues I have dealt with in my life.

My husband and I live in Kenosha, Wisconsin.  I have two daughters and two beautiful granddaughters.

Most importantly, I am grateful to God for leading me to this profession and for the grace that he bestows upon me daily through his dear son and my savior Jesus Christ.

Hope to see you sometime…..
